Cheese Cake Recipe
Ingredients
Crust
- 1c graham cracker crumbs
- 3tbs sugar
- 3tbs butter
Filling
- x3 8oz philadelphia cream cheese (SOFTENED!)
- 0.75C granulated sugar
- 1tsp vanilla
- 3 eggs
- x1 1oz square of chocolate (I use more usually, get the fancy baking kind)
Recipe
Crust
- Combine crumbs, sugar, and margarine into bottom of springform pan.
- Bake at 350deg for 10min
Filling
- Combine softened cream cheese, sugar and vanilla. Mix until well blended
- Add eggs, one at a time until well blended.
- Reserve 1c of batter and blend in melted chocolate into reserved portion
- Pour into baked crust
- Marble by pouring alternated layer of batter/chocolate batter. Drag knife through batter layers. Be careful not to puncture the crust.
- Bake at 450deg for 10 min
- Reduce oven temp to 250deg, bake for 30 more min
- Loosen cake after baking and serve chilled
